In honor of Theresa's tenth birthday, 

 which slipped by with nary a mention over a month ago,

Picture Parade: Strange Fruit.

That's Theresa peeking out of the top of the dogwood tree.  Yes, that's right, I said the top of the dogwood.  Sheesh.  I took the picture looking out of a second floor window, and she was about eye level with me.  I'd guess it's only about 20 feet off the ground.

Theresa received a snazzy new bike as a gift from GrandDad and Pat, and she's tearing up the concrete with it (but thankfully not her knees)!

In March, Theresa received the Sacrament of Penance for the first time.  She is pictured here with our pastor, Fr. Martin.

And yesterday she was able to partake of the Holy Eucharist for the first time.  I won't have the official pictures for some time, so instead I will share these which were taken a few days ago.

Many thanks to our friend Sherry, who expertly styled Theresa's flyaway raggmopp into an upsweep of braids and curls.  

It made Theresa feel like "a total princess!" 

Today is Theresa's day!

She went from zero to bike-riding in about five minutes!
