I had almost a full house for my fiftieth birthday last week.

Memorial Day

This is the weekend of Andy’s brother’s Memorial Day party, and Scott brought Scarlett to sleep over the night before. We took her to Mass with us and then to the party.

Reunited

Last week the four youngest girls were invited to spend two nights at their oldest sister’s house. I planned to retrieve them on Friday when we met in Harrisburg for the symphony performance.  Philip had been the only kid at home for two days.

A few minutes into the concert, he asked if he could go sit with Regina. He really missed her.

May Crowning

Theresa was chosen to crown the Blessed Mother at our parish this year, and we were able to get a photo with all of us who were in attendance.

Sarah

Sarah called me early last month and said, “Mom, today is the day all my dreams come true.”  I asked, “Are you getting married?” She replied, “No, I’m getting chickens!”

On an unrelated note, she was a bridesmaid in the wedding of one of her oldest friends.
