This is one of those milestones that begins to make me feel old. I still vividly remember going to our own proms. This is what happens when you have kids at both ends of the spectrum.
Sarah picked the poofiest dress imaginable. She said it made her feel like a princess, which, coming from pragmatic Sarah, meant A LOT.
Here's our tall cool drink of water - Scott. He had very definite ideas about what he wanted to wear - white tux, tails, top hat, cane, gloves. His ensemble ended up costing more than hers! Yikes!
Here is a nice shot of Sarah's hair. Normally it's kinda short and shaggy, so she never expected them to be able to put it up like this. It only amplified the 'princess' feeling.
The four of them in front of the limousine - Josh & Sarah, Scott & Grace. We went with a limo because only the girls could drive, and we didn't want the girls to drive wearing ballgowns. None of us has a car that could fit 4 people in formal attire anyway, and this may be the only year we have more than one child attending prom, too.
They all thought the limousine was AMAZING. Theirs was the only limo at prom this year. Having the limo pull up and Scott emerging, from top hat to cane, was a sight to behold.
Scott squiring Grace during the promenade. He also felt like a princess - well, maybe not, but close - he was really taken with his appearance.
Josh escorting Sarah around the promenade.
One very proud and happy dad.
From all accounts, prom was a total blast - the most fun night ever.
